Haggai, Zechariah and Malachi, the last three prophets, were among the one hundred and twenty members of the Great Assembly, the body that led the Jewish people during the early years of the Second Temple era.

The first Temple destruction. The second Temple building. Both are of concerns that G-d related to His people through His servants the prophets, Haggai.

When you set your self first, before the things and matters of G-d, He is not pleased.

Saying it, is one thing. Doing it, is another.

Staying connected with G-d’s true word (commandments), is crucial; especially when in difficult times.
