Guiding Principles To Those Who Serve and Love Hashem

Not helping those who hate G-d. Being careful on how you act. For with G-d there is no corruption nor favoritism nor acceptance of bribes. v. 7

… “Thus shall you act — with fear of Hashem, with trust and with sincere hearts. V. 9

“Jehu”

“Fair Judgment”

“Being careful. No Corruption, neither Favoritism nor Bribe”

Jehu son of Hanani the Seer came out to greet him, and he said to King Jehoshaphat, “To aid the wicked? Will you love those who hate Hashem?! Because of this, fury from before Hashem is upon you!
19:2
… “Take care in what you do, for it is not for man’s sake that you judge, but for Hashem’s, and He is with you in the matter of judgment.
:6
So now, let the fear of Hashem be upon you; be careful when you act, for with Hashem, our God, there is no corruption nor favoritism nor acceptance of bribes.”
:7
… “Thus shall you act — with fear of Hashem, with trust and with sincere hearts.
:9
… you shall warn them so that they do not incur guilt before Hashem, which would bring fury upon you and your brethren. So shall you do not to incur guilt!
:10
… and may Hashem be with him who does good!”
:11

1 And Jehoshaphat the king of Judah returned home in peace to Jerusalem.
2 And Jehu the son of Hanani, the seer, came out before him, and said to King Jehoshaphat, “[Did you go] to aid the wicked, and do you love those who hate the Lord? Now because of this there is wrath upon you from before the Lord.
3 Nevertheless there are good things found in you, for you have abolished the asheroth from the land, and you set your heart to seek God.”
4 And Jehoshaphat dwelt in Jerusalem, and he returned and went forth among the people from Beersheba to Mount Ephraim, and he brought them back to the Lord, the God of their forefathers.
5 And he appointed judges in the land in all the fortified cities of Judah, for every city.
6 And he said to the judges, “See what you are doing, for you do not judge for man but for the Lord, and [He] is with you in the matter of the judgment.
7 And now, may the fear of the Lord be upon you; observe and do, for with the Lord your God there is neither injustice, favoritism, nor bribe-taking.”
8 And also in Jerusalem, Jehoshaphat set up judges of the Levites and the priests and of the chiefs of the fathers’ [houses] of Israel, for the judgment of the Lord and for quarrels, and they returned to Jerusalem.
9 And he commanded them, saying, “So shall you do in fear of the Lord, in faith, and with a perfect heart.
10 And whenever any quarrel comes to you from your brethren who dwell in their cities, between blood[shed] and blood[shed], between instruction of the commandments, the statutes, and the ordinances, you shall admonish them, so that they should not be guilty before the Lord, and there be wrath upon you and upon your brethren; so shall you do, and you will not be guilty.
11 And behold, Amariah the head priest is over you for every matter of the Lord, and Zebadiah the son of Ishmael is the leader of the house of Judah for every matter of the king, and the Levite law-enforcers are before you; be strong and do, and may the Lord be with the good.”

Ruth is one of the greatest converts who ever lived.
Though not a lengthy book, Ruth is filled with significant story in the Hebrew Bible that tell the tale of a foreign woman, who later becomes an ancestor of King David.
Lamentations is a collection of five powerful reflections mourning the destruction of the first Temple and the exile of the Jewish people from Jerusalem.

The book is attributed to the prophet Jeremiah, who have written it in vivid, anguished language to express his own grief as well as that of the Jewish community as a whole.

The Book of Chronicles was composed by Ezra, and the Sages of the Talmud (Oral law) canonized it as part of Scripture. By definition, therefore, it was composed under the guidance of the Divine Spirit.
The book that recounts the history of the Israelites from the time of Adam to the end of the Babylonian exile — this is the Book of Chronicles. Daily Holy Bible Reading lays the period from Adam to the death of King David, and the period from the death of King David to the end of the Babylonian exile in the two (2) parts of the Book of Chronicles (Divrei Hayamim).

The Book of Chronicles is an important source of information about the history of the Jewish people. It provides details about the kings of Israel and Judah, the Temple in Jerusalem, and the religious practices of the Jewish people. The book also contains a number of important theological teachings, such as the importance of following God’s commandments and the promise of God’s redemption.

Bible reading in the form of Scripture in pictures can have a profound impact on those who may have never read a chapter in the Hebrew Bible (Old Testament). Viewing pivotal verses in a visual context can deepen one’s understanding of the text and provide a unique perspective. The images may help to illustrate important themes and messages that may not have been as easily grasped through standard reading. Additionally, this method can be particularly beneficial for those who struggle with traditional reading methods or for those who are more visually inclined. The power of visual storytelling has been utilized for centuries, and when paired with the timeless words of Scripture, it has the potential to bring new life and meaning to the ancient text. Ultimately, whatever method one chooses to engage with the Bible, the most important thing is to seek a deeper understanding of God’s word, and to apply it to our lives in a meaningful way.
