Chronicles On The Completion Of The Temple

Sheep and Cattle are offered before the Ark.

They gave thanks and praise to Hashem by sounding the trumpets, cymbals and other musical instruments.

“Hashem is good, for His kindness is forever.”

The glory of Hashem filled the Temple of G-d.

“The Temple Is Completed”

“The Ark”

“The Trumpeters And Singers”

When all the work that Solomon had done for the Temple of Hashem was completed, Solomon brought that which his father David had sanctified, and he placed the silver, the gold and all the articles in the treasuries of the Temple of God.
5:1
All the elders of Israel came, and the Levites bore the Ark.
:4
King Solomon and the entire assembly of Israel who had assembled with him before the Ark offered up sheep and cattle, too abundant to be numbered or counted.
:6
The Kohanim brought the Ark of the Covenant of Hashem to its place, to the Inner Sanctum of the Temple, to the Holy of Holies, to beneath the wings of the Cherubim.
:7
For the Cherubim spread their wings over the place of the Ark; the Cherubim covered over the Ark and its staves from above.
:8
Nothing was in the Ark but the two [stone] Tablets that Moses placed there in Horeb, which Hashem covenanted with the Children of Israel when they left Egypt.
:10
The Levites, all of whom were singers: Asaph, Heman, Jeduthun and their sons and kinsmen were dressed in linen; with cymbals, lyres and harps, and stood to the east of the Altar. …
:12
There was unison among the trumpeters and the singers, sounding out in one voice to praise and give thanksgiving to Hashem, and when the sound of the trumpets and cymbals and other musical instruments sounded out, with praise of Hashem “for He is good, for His kindness is forever,”) and the cloud filled the House — the Temple of Hashem —
:13
and the Kohanim could not stand and minister because of the cloud, for the glory of Hashem filled the Temple of God.
:14

1 Now all the work that Solomon did for the House of the Lord was completed, and Solomon brought his father David’s hallowed things, and the silver and the gold and all the vessels he deposited in the treasuries of the House of God.
2 Then Solomon assembled the elders of Israel and all the chiefs of the tribes, the princes of the fathers’ [houses] of the Children of Israel, to Jerusalem, to bring up the Ark of the Covenant of the Lord from the City of David, which is Zion.
3 And all the men of Israel assembled on the festival; that is the seventh month.
4 And all the elders of Israel came, and the Levites bore the Ark.
5 And they brought up the Ark and the Tent of Meeting, and all the sacred vessels that were in the Tent; the priests [and] the Levites brought them up.
6 And King Solomon and all the congregation of Israel, who were gathered with him before the Ark were sacrificing sheep and oxen that could not be counted or numbered because of their abundance.
7 And the priests brought the Ark of the Covenant of the Lord to its place, to the Debir of the House, to the Holy of Holies, to [the place] beneath the wings of the cherubim.
8 And the cherubim were spreading their wings over the place of the Ark, and the cherubim covered over the Ark and over its staves from above.
9 And they extended the staves so that the ends of the staves were seen from the Ark before the Debir, but they were not seen outside, and they were there until this day.
10 There was nothing in the Ark but the two tablets that Moses gave in Horeb, when the Lord made [a covenant] with the Children of Israel when they left Egypt.
11 And it came to pass when the priests left the Holy, for all the priests that were present had sanctified themselves; not taking heed of the divisions.
12 And the Levites who sang-all of them, Asaph, Heman, Jeduthun, and their sons and their brethren, attired in fine linen, with cymbals and with psalteries and with harps, standing east of the altar, and with them were priests-one hundred twenty sounding with trumpets.
13 And the trumpeters and the singers were as one, to make one sound, to praise and to thank the Lord, and when they raised a sound with trumpets and with cymbals and with the musical instruments and with praise to the Lord, “for He is good, because His kindness is eternal,” and the House became full of the cloud of the House of the Lord.
14 And the priests could not stand to serve because of the cloud, because the glory of the Lord filled the House of God.

Ruth is one of the greatest converts who ever lived.
Though not a lengthy book, Ruth is filled with significant story in the Hebrew Bible that tell the tale of a foreign woman, who later becomes an ancestor of King David.
Lamentations is a collection of five powerful reflections mourning the destruction of the first Temple and the exile of the Jewish people from Jerusalem.

The book is attributed to the prophet Jeremiah, who have written it in vivid, anguished language to express his own grief as well as that of the Jewish community as a whole.

The Book of Chronicles was composed by Ezra, and the Sages of the Talmud (Oral law) canonized it as part of Scripture. By definition, therefore, it was composed under the guidance of the Divine Spirit.

Bible reading in the form of Scripture in pictures can have a profound impact on those who may have never read a chapter in the Hebrew Bible (Old Testament). Viewing pivotal verses in a visual context can deepen one’s understanding of the text and provide a unique perspective. The images may help to illustrate important themes and messages that may not have been as easily grasped through standard reading. Additionally, this method can be particularly beneficial for those who struggle with traditional reading methods or for those who are more visually inclined. The power of visual storytelling has been utilized for centuries, and when paired with the timeless words of Scripture, it has the potential to bring new life and meaning to the ancient text. Ultimately, whatever method one chooses to engage with the Bible, the most important thing is to seek a deeper understanding of God’s word, and to apply it to our lives in a meaningful way.
