Job Chapter 25

THE WRITINGS

JOB

IYOV

Suffering of the Righteous.

Chapter 25

Job Is Told Of His Helplessness Before G-d

A bird’s eye view of how G-d runs the universe.

Truly man is nothing compared to G-d.

But, when zoomed in in the Bible, it gives hope that He is into man’s affairs.

G-d is just. As mentioned in Psalms (Tehillim), and ubiquitous in the entire Bible.

“The Third Speech Of Bildad”

How can man be considered righteous before God? …
25:4
Behold! the moon passed by and cast no light and the stars are not pure in His eyes,
:5
how much more so man, [who is like] a maggot, and a mortal, [who is like] a worm!
:6

1 Now Bildad the Shuhite answered and said,
2 “Dominion and fear are with Him; He makes peace in His heights.
3 Have His troops a number, and on whom does His light not shine?
4 How then can man be just with God, and how can one born of woman be clean?
5 Behold, He removes the moon and it will not shine, and the stars are not pure in His eyes.
6 How much less, man, who is a worm, and the son of man, who is a maggot!”

Blessed be the Name of Hashem

Bible reading in the form of Scripture in pictures can have a profound impact on those who may have never read a chapter in the Hebrew Bible (Old Testament). Viewing pivotal verses in a visual context can deepen one’s understanding of the text and provide a unique perspective. The images may help to illustrate important themes and messages that may not have been as easily grasped through standard reading. Additionally, this method can be particularly beneficial for those who struggle with traditional reading methods or for those who are more visually inclined. The power of visual storytelling has been utilized for centuries, and when paired with the timeless words of Scripture, it has the potential to bring new life and meaning to the ancient text. Ultimately, whatever method one chooses to engage with the Bible, the most important thing is to seek a deeper understanding of God’s word, and to apply it to our lives in a meaningful way.
