MALACHI

Considered as the last of the twelve Jewish prophets

It is said that after the last prophets Haggai, Zechariah and Malachi died, the Divine Spirit of prophetic revelation departed from the Jewish people.

Malachi makes it even clearer that the Jewish people were singled out by G-d to be His people.

On a deeper sense, it is all a love of choice. Thus, cannot be justified by logic alone.”

“For I, Hashem, have not changed; …”

Malachi Exposes Disobedience And Contention

The Greek book – New Testament clearly teaches both. All in the name of Jesus.

Find out G-d’s reaction to such in plain verses.

Read or listen and decide.

“Obedience Or Curse”

If you do not listen and do not take it to heart to render honor to My Name, says Hashem, Master of Legions, I will send the curse among you and I will curse your blessings. Indeed I have already cursed it, for you do not take to heart.
2:2
Know that I have sent this commandment to you, so that My covenant should be with Levi, says Hashem, Master of Legions.
:4
The teaching of truth was in his mouth, and injustice was not found on his lips; he walked with Me in peace and with fairness and turned many away from iniquity.
:6
For the lips of the Kohen should safeguard knowledge, and people should seek teaching from his mouth; for he is an agent of Hashem, Master of Legions.
:7
But you have veered from the path; you have caused many people to stumble through [your] teaching. You have corrupted the covenant of Levi, says Hashem, Master of Legions.
:8
Therefore, I have also made you repulsive and lowly to all the people because you do not observe My ways and you show favoritism in [your] teaching.
:9
“Have we not all one Father? Did not one God created us [all]? Why, then, is one person betrayed by another, in order to defile the covenant of our forefathers?
:10
Judah has betrayed, and an abomination has been done in Israel and in Jerusalem. For Judah has defiled the holy [nation] of Hashem, which He loved, and has taken in marriage the daughter of a foreign god.
:11
[You ask,] “But did not the unique one do [so], and he had an extraordinary spirit?” And what did the unique one seek? Godly offspring! However, you should guard your spirit and let it not betray the wife of your youth!
:15
For he who hates [his wife] should divorce [her], says Hashem, God of Israel! He covers injustice with his garment, says Hashem, Master of Legions! Guard your spirit and do not commit betrayal.
:16
You have wearied Hashem with you words, but you say, “How have we wearied Him?” By your saying, “Everyone who does wrong is good in the eyes of Hashem, and He favors them; or else where is the God of justice?”
:17

1 And now, to you is this commandment, O priests.
2 If you do not heed, and if you do not take it to heart to give honor to My Name, says the Lord of Hosts, I will send the curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings. Indeed I have [already] cursed it, for you do not take it to heart.
3 Behold! I rebuke the seed because of you, and I will scatter dung upon your face-the dung of your festive sacrifices, and it shall take you to itself.
4 And you shall know that I have sent you this commandment, that My covenant be with Levi, says the Lord of Hosts.
5 My covenant was with him, life and peace, and I gave them to him [with] fear; and he feared Me, and because of My Name, he was over-awed.
6 True teaching was in his mouth, and injustice was not found on his lips. In peace and equity he went with Me, and he brought back many from iniquity.
7 For a priest’s lips shall guard knowledge, and teaching should be sought from his mouth, for he is a messenger of the Lord of Hosts.
8 But you have turned aside from the way. You caused many to stumble in the Torah. You corrupted the covenant of the Levites, said the Lord of Hosts.
9 And now I, too, have made you contemptible and low to the entire people according to how you do not keep My ways and [how] you show favoritism in the Torah.
10 Have we not all one father? Has not one God created us? Why should we betray, each one his brother, to profane the convenant of our forefathers?
11 Judah has dealt treacherously, and an abomination has been committed in Israel and in Jerusalem; for Judah has profaned the holy one of the Lord [in] that he loved and married the daughter of a foreign god.
12 From the man who commits it, the Lord shall cut off one of acuity or erudition from the tents of Jacob and one who offers up an offering to the Lord of Hosts.
13 And this second thing you do, to cover the altar of the Lord with tears, weeping, and sighing-such that He will no longer turn to the offering, nor will He take anything willingly from your hand.
14 And you will say, “Why?”-Because the Lord testified between you and the wife of your youth, that you dealt treacherously with her, and she is your companion and the wife of your covenant.
15 Now did He not make one who had the rest of the spirits? Now what does the one seek of the seed of God? Now you shall beware of your spirit, that it shall not deal treacherously with the wife of your youth.
16 If you hate [her], send [her] away, says the Lord God of Israel. For injustice shall cover his garment, said the Lord of Hosts, but you shall beware of your spirit, and do not deal treacherously.
17 You have wearied the Lord with your words, and you say, “How have we wearied [Him]?”-By your saying, “Every evildoer is good in the Lord’s sight, and He desires them,” or, “Where is the God of judgment?”

Remember The Torah

A perfect example of an unconditional love, is the love of G-d to the Jewish people. Not only it is unconditional, but evidently, eternal.

Offering or sacrifice, how acceptable and unacceptable it is in the eyes of G-d?

Honor G-d by keeping His commandments, lest your blessings be turned into curse.
