Proverbs Chapter 11 A More Practical Contrast Between Being Righteous and Being Wicked or Evil

Proverbs Guarantees Punishment To The Wicked And Sinner.

Less talk means less mistakes.

But this does not mean, keeping it to yourself you sin no more. For it may accumulate and do more damage than speaking it out.

“The Righteous Versus The Wicked Continues” Continues…

Deceitful scales are an abomination of Hashem, but a perfect weight is His desire.
11:1
When a willful sinner comes shame comes, but with modest ones [comes] wisdom.
11:2
The innocence of the just will guide them, but the corruption of the faithless will despoil them.
11:3
Wealth will not avail in the day of wrath, but charity will rescue from death.
:4
The righteous one is removed from affliction, but the wicked one comes in his place.
:8
Through the blessing of the upright a city is exalted, but through the mouth of the wicked it is torn down.
:11
He who shames his friend lacks a heart, but a man of understanding will be silent.
:12
He who reveals a secret is a talebearer, but the faithful of spirit conceals a matter.
:13
A man of kindness brings good upon himself, …
:17
The wicked one does false deeds, but one who sows righteousness has a true reward.
:18
[One who gives] sincere charity [is consigned] to life; but the pursuer of evil [is consigned] to his death.
:19
[Like] a golden ring in the snout of a pig, [so] is a beautiful woman whose good sense has departed.
:22
The soul that blesses will grow fat, and one who sates [others] will himself be sated.
:25
He who seeks good [for others] seeks [God’s] favor, but he who searches out evil [for others], it will come upon him.
:27
He who trusts in his wealth — he will fall, …
:28
If a righteous person is punished on earth, surely a wicked one and a sinner.
:31

1 Deceitful scales are an abomination of the Lord, but a perfect weight is His will.
2 When willful wickedness comes, then comes disgrace, but with the modest is wisdom.
3 The innocence of the upright leads them, but the distortion of the treacherous robs them.
4 Riches will not avail on the day of wrath, but charity will save from death.
5 The righteousness of the innocent will straighten his way, but the wicked will fall in his wickedness.
6 The righteousness of the upright will save them, but in the destruction, the treacherous will be caught.
7 When a wicked man dies, hope is lost, and the expectation of his children is lost.
8 A righteous man is extricated from trouble, and a wicked man comes in his stead.
9 With his mouth, the flatterer destroys his neighbor; but with knowledge, righteous men are extricated.
10 When it goes well with the righteous, the city rejoices, and when the wicked perish, there is song.
11 With the blessing of the upright, the ceiling is raised, but with the mouth of the wicked it is demolished.
12 He who despises his neighbor is devoid of sense, but a man of understanding is silent.
13 He who reveals secrets is a talebearer, but one who is of faithful spirit conceals a matter.
14 Without strategy the people falls, but with many counselors there is victory.
15 He who gives surety for a stranger will be broken by it, but he who hates hand-claspers [for surety] is secure.
16 A charming woman draws near to honor, but strong men draw near to riches.
17 A kind man does himself good, but a cruel one troubles his own flesh.
18 A wicked man earns illusory wages, but he who sows charity [receives] a true reward.
19 The truth of charity is for life, but one who pursues evil [leads] to his death.
20 Those who are perverse in heart are an abomination of the Lord, but He desires those who are sincere in their way.
21 From hand to hand the evil will not be cleansed, but the seed of the righteous escapes.
22 [As] a gold ring in a swine’s snout, is a beautiful woman from whom sense has departed.
23 The desire of the righteous is only good; the hope of the wicked is wrath.
24 There is one who scatters and yet is given more, and one who withholds from [giving] what is proper, only for a loss.
25 A generous person will become rich, and he who sates [others] shall himself become sated as well.
26 He who keeps back grain-the nation will curse him, but a blessing will be bestowed on the head of him who sells grain.
27 He who desires good seeks acceptance, but he who seeks evil, it will befall him.
28 He who relies on his wealth will fall, but the righteous will flourish like a leaf.
29 He who inherits the wind will trouble his household; the fool is a slave to the wisehearted.
30 The fruit of a righteous man is the tree of life, and the wise man acquires souls.
31 Behold! The righteous man will be requited on earth; surely a wicked man and a sinner.

Bible reading in the form of Scripture in pictures can have a profound impact on those who may have never read a chapter in the Hebrew Bible (Old Testament). Viewing pivotal verses in a visual context can deepen one’s understanding of the text and provide a unique perspective. The images may help to illustrate important themes and messages that may not have been as easily grasped through standard reading. Additionally, this method can be particularly beneficial for those who struggle with traditional reading methods or for those who are more visually inclined. The power of visual storytelling has been utilized for centuries, and when paired with the timeless words of Scripture, it has the potential to bring new life and meaning to the ancient text. Ultimately, whatever method one chooses to engage with the Bible, the most important thing is to seek a deeper understanding of God’s word, and to apply it to our lives in a meaningful way.
