All of man’s ways are pure in his own eyes, but Hashem is in the midst of spirits.
16:2
Turn your deeds towards Hashem and your thoughts will be set aright.
16:3
Everything Hashem made [He made] for His sake, even the evildoer for the day of retribution.
:4
Every haughty heart is the abomination of Hashem, …
:5
Through kindness and truth iniquity will be forgiven, if through fear of Hashem one turns from evil.
:6
When Hashem favors a man’s ways, even his foes will make peace with him.
:7
Better a little through righteousness than much produce without justice.
:8
A scale and just balances are Hashem’s; HIs deeds are like weights in a pouch.

Pride precedes destruction, and arrogance comes before failure.

Better [to be] lowly of spirit with the humble than [to be] sharing spoils with the proud.

The crown of splendor is old age; …
:31
He who is slow to anger is better than a strong man, …
:32

1 The preparations of the heart are man’s, but the answer of the tongue is from the Lord.
2 All ways of man are pure in his eyes, but the Lord counts the spirits.
3 Commit your affairs to the Lord, and your plans will be established.
4 The Lord made everything for His praise-even the wicked man for the day of evil.
5 Everyone of haughty heart is an abomination of the Lord; hand to hand he will not go unpunished.
6 With loving-kindness and truth will iniquity be expiated, and through fear of the Lord turn away from evil.
7 When the Lord accepts a person’s ways, He will cause even his enemies to make peace with him.
8 Better a little with righteousness than great revenues with injustice.
9 A man’s heart plans his way, but the Lord prepares his step.
10 There is magic on a king’s lips; his mouth commits no treachery in judgment.
11 The balance and scales of justice are the Lord’s; all the weights in the bag are His work.
12 It is an abomination to kings to commit wickedness, for with righteousness the throne is established.
13 Righteous lips are the delight of kings, and he loves the one who speaks honestly.
14 The king’s wrath is [like] messengers of death, but a wise man will pacify it.
15 In the light of the King’s countenance is life, and His delight is like a cloud of the late rain.
16 How much better is it to acquire wisdom than gold! And to acquire understanding is preferable to silver.
17 The highway of the upright is to turn away from evil; he who guards his soul watches his way.
18 Before destruction comes pride, and before stumbling [comes] a haughty spirit.
19 It is better to be of humble spirit with the lowly than to divide the spoils with the haughty.
20 He who considers a matter will find good, and he who trusts in the Lord is fortunate.
21 The wise-hearted shall be called understanding; and the sweetness of speech increases learning.
22 Intelligence is a fountain of life to one who has it, but the chastisement of the fools is folly.
23 The heart of a wise man give his mouth intelligence and adds learning to his lips.
24 Pleasant words are as a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones.
25 There is a way [that is] straight in a man’s view, but its end is ways of death.
26 The soul of a laborer labors for him, when his mouth forces him.
27 An ungodly man digs up evil, and on his lips is a kind of searing fire.
28 A perverse man incites quarrel, and a grumbler alienates the Lord.
29 A man of violence entices his neighbor and leads him on a way that is not good.
30 He winks his eyes to think perverse thoughts; he purses his lips, bringing evil to pass.
31 A hoary head is a crown of glory; it will be found in the way of righteousness.
32 One who is slow to anger is better than a mighty man, and one who rules over his spirit [is better] than one who conquers a city.
33 The lot is cast in the lap, but all his judgment is from the Lord.

Bible reading in the form of Scripture in pictures can have a profound impact on those who may have never read a chapter in the Hebrew Bible (Old Testament). Viewing pivotal verses in a visual context can deepen one’s understanding of the text and provide a unique perspective. The images may help to illustrate important themes and messages that may not have been as easily grasped through standard reading. Additionally, this method can be particularly beneficial for those who struggle with traditional reading methods or for those who are more visually inclined. The power of visual storytelling has been utilized for centuries, and when paired with the timeless words of Scripture, it has the potential to bring new life and meaning to the ancient text. Ultimately, whatever method one chooses to engage with the Bible, the most important thing is to seek a deeper understanding of God’s word, and to apply it to our lives in a meaningful way.
