Proverbs Chapter 21 Confident Because You Believe in Jesus?

Proverbs Exposing False Doctrine Of Sin Sacrifice

Your action is far more favorable to G-d, than false claim that Jesus did all on the cross; which is a strange teaching that is nowhere in the Hebrew Bible (Old Testament).

Yes, offering is a common practice for unintentional sin. But, it does not free you from sinning due to disobedience of G-d’s commandments. Hence, G-d’s laws stand and will remain…

“Righteous Deeds versus Sacrifice/Offering”

Like streams of water is the heart of a king in the hand of Hashem, wherever He wishes, so He directs it.
21:1
A man’s every way is upright in his eyes; but Hashem resides inside his heart.
21:2
Doing what is right and just is preferable to Hashem than an offering.
21:3
Haughty eyes and a proud heart are the plotting of the wicked, a sin.
:4
The way of a man is [sometimes] inconsistent and strange, but a pure one’s every deed is upright.
:8
One who shuts his ear to the cry of the pauper, he too will call out and not be answered.
:13
The lover of pleasure will be a man who lacks; the lover of wine and oil will not grow rich.
:17
Better to dwell in a wasteland than [with] a woman of contention and anger.
:19
One who pursues righteousness and kindness will find life, righteousness, and honor.
:21
One who guards his mouth and his tongue guards his soul from troubles.
:23
The lust of the sluggard will kill him; for his hands refuse to work.
:25
The offering of the wicked is an abomination; and surely when they bring it with [impure] design.
:27
A wicked person shows his audacity on his face, but the upright one considers his way.
:29
There is neither wisdom nor understanding nor counsel against Hashem.
:30
The horse is readied for the day of battle, but salvation is Hashem’s.
:31

1 A king’s heart is like rivulets of water in the Lord’s hand; wherever He wishes, He turns it.
2 Man’s every way is straight in his own eyes, but the Lord counts the hearts.
3 Performing charity and justice is preferred by God to a sacrifice.
4 Haughty eyes and unlimited lust-the tillage of the wicked is sin.
5 The plans of a diligent man lead only to advantage, whereas every hasty one hurries only to want.
6 Gathering treasures with a lying tongue is like a driven vapor; they seek death.
7 The plunder of the wicked frightens them, for they have refused to perform justice.
8 A man’s way is changeable and he is strange, but as for a pure one-his deed is right.
9 It is better to sit on the corner of a roof than with a quarrelsome wife and the house of a friend.
10 The soul of a wicked man desires evil; his neighbor finds no favor in his eyes.
11 When a scorner is punished, a fool gains wisdom, but when a wise man is instructed, he gains knowledge.
12 The Righteous One considers the house of the wicked, overthrowing the wicked to their ruin.
13 He who stops up his ear from the cry of a poor man-he, too, will cry out and not be answered.
14 A gift in secret will appease wrath, and a bribe in the pocket [will even appease] strong wrath.
15 It is a joy for a righteous man to do judgment, and a ruin for those who commit violence.
16 A man who strays from the way of understanding will rest in the congregation of the shades.
17 He who loves joy shall be a poor man; he who loves wine and oil shall not become rich.
18 A wicked man shall be ransom for a righteous man, and a treacherous one instead of the upright.
19 It is better to dwell in a desert land than [with] a quarrelsome and vexatious wife.
20 Precious treasure and oil are in the dwelling of the wise man, but man’s foolishness will swallow it up.
21 He who pursues charity and kindness will find life, charity, and honor.
22 A wise man ascended to a city of mighty men and brought down the stronghold in which it trusts.
23 He who watches his mouth and his tongue guards his soul from troubles.
24 A malevolent, haughty man-scorner is his name; he acts with malevolent anger.
25 The desire of a lazy man will bring about his death, for his hands refuse to labor.
26 All day he covets greedily, but the righteous man gives and does not spare.
27 The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination, how much more if he brings it with plans of wickedness!
28 A false witness will perish, but an obedient man may speak forever.
29 A wicked man shows his brazenness in his anger, but an upright man-he will understand his way.
30 There is neither wisdom nor understanding nor counsel against the Lord.
31 A steed is prepared for a day of battle, but the victory is the Lord’s.

Bible reading in the form of Scripture in pictures can have a profound impact on those who may have never read a chapter in the Hebrew Bible (Old Testament). Viewing pivotal verses in a visual context can deepen one’s understanding of the text and provide a unique perspective. The images may help to illustrate important themes and messages that may not have been as easily grasped through standard reading. Additionally, this method can be particularly beneficial for those who struggle with traditional reading methods or for those who are more visually inclined. The power of visual storytelling has been utilized for centuries, and when paired with the timeless words of Scripture, it has the potential to bring new life and meaning to the ancient text. Ultimately, whatever method one chooses to engage with the Bible, the most important thing is to seek a deeper understanding of God’s word, and to apply it to our lives in a meaningful way.
