Chapter 113

Psalms On G-d’s Concerns With The Affairs Of Heaven And Earth

As He is enthroned on high, He also lifts the needy, destitute and barren.

Thus, to all His true servants. Not in words alone, but in deeds moreover.

“G-d’s Control And Kindness To All Creatures”

Halleluyah! Give praise, you servants of Hashem; praise the Name of Hashem!
113:1
Blessed be the Name of Hashem, from this time and forever.
113:2
From the rising of the sun to its setting, Hashem’s Name is praised.
113:3
Who is like Hashem, our God, Who is enthroned on high — yet deigns to look upon the heavens and the earth?
:5-6
He transforms the barren wife into a glad mother of children. Halleluyah!
:9

1 Hallelujah! Praise, you servants of the Lord, praise the name of the Lord.
2 May the name of the Lord be blessed from now and to eternity.
3 From the rising of the sun until its setting, the name of the Lord is praised.
4 The Lord is high over all nations; upon the heavens is His glory.
5 Who is like the Lord, our God, Who dwells on high,
6 Who lowers [His eyes] to look in the heavens and the earth?
7 He lifts the pauper up from the dust, from the dungheap He raises up the needy,
8 To seat [him] with princes, with the princes of His people.
9 He seats the barren woman of the house as a happy mother of children. Hallelujah!

Fulfill G-d's Will.

Bible reading in the form of Scripture in pictures can have a profound impact on those who may have never read a chapter in the Hebrew Bible (Old Testament). Viewing pivotal verses in a visual context can deepen one’s understanding of the text and provide a unique perspective. The images may help to illustrate important themes and messages that may not have been as easily grasped through standard reading. Additionally, this method can be particularly beneficial for those who struggle with traditional reading methods or for those who are more visually inclined. The power of visual storytelling has been utilized for centuries, and when paired with the timeless words of Scripture, it has the potential to bring new life and meaning to the ancient text. Ultimately, whatever method one chooses to engage with the Bible, the most important thing is to seek a deeper understanding of God’s word, and to apply it to our lives in a meaningful way.
