“The Words Of Hashem”

Save, O Hashem, for the devout one is no more, for truthful people have vanished from mankind.
12:2
Each man speaks untruth to his neighbor; a lip of smooth talk, with an insincere heart do they speak.
12:3
May Hashem excise all lips of smooth talk, the tongue which speaks boastfully.
:4
The words of Hashem are pure words; like purified silver, clear to the world, refined sevenfold.
:7
You will preserve each one forever from such a generation,
:8
[in which] the wicked walk on every side, when baseness is exalted among the sons of men.

1 For the conductor on the sheminith, a song of David.
2 Save, O Lord, for the pious are gone, for the faithful have vanished from the sons of men.
3 One speaks to another with falseness, smooth talk; they speak with a double heart.
4 May the Lord cut off all smooth lips, the tongue that speaks great things.
5 Who said, “With our tongue we will overpower; our lips are with us. Who is lord over us?”
6 Because of the plunder of the poor, because of the cry of the needy, Now I will rise, the Lord shall say; I will grant them salvation, He shall speak concerning them.
7 The sayings of the Lord are pure sayings, like silver refined, exposed to the earth, clarified sevenfold.
8 You, O Lord, shall guard them; You shall guard him from this generation forever.
9 Wicked men walk on all sides when the [one who appears] basest to the sons of men is elevated.

The book of Tehillim (Psalms) with 150 prayers and hymns were composed by various authors, mainly King David, in ancient Israel. It has become one of the most cherished books in the Jewish bible. For generations, the Tehillim has been a source of inspiration and comfort to many.The Book of Joshua, in the Hebrew-Jewish Bible, narrates the entry of the Children of Israel into the Promised Land of Canaan and their conquest and partition of the land under the leadership of Joshua, as Moses’ successor. It details the Israelites’ miraculous crossing of the Jordan River, the fall of Jericho, the battles of Ai and Gibeon, and the division of the land among the twelve tribes. Joshua resonates with Moses, in which he exhorts the Israelites to remain faithful to G-d and His commandments.

The Book of Mishlei (Proverbs) in the Hebrew Bible. The book begins with a call to seek wisdom and understanding, and it describes the benefits that come from doing so, such as knowledge and discernment.Judges chronicles the history of the Israelites during the period between the conquest of the Land of Israel and the establishment of the monarchy.
