Serve Hashem.
Chapter 123
Psalms Cry At Times Of Difficulty And Distress
May you find favor in Hashem, our G-d.
Persevere to find favor in Hashem that you may be sheltered by His mercy and kindness…
“Yearning For G-d’s Relief”
… To You I raised my eyes, O You Who dwell in the heavens.
123:1
Behold! Like the eyes of servants unto their masters’ hand, like the eyes of a maid unto her mistress’s hand, so are our eyes unto Hashem, our God, until He will favor us.
123:2
Favor us, Hashem, favor us, for we are fully sated with contempt.
123:3
1 A song of ascents. To You I lifted up my eyes, You Who dwell in heaven.
2 Behold, as the eyes of slaves to the hand of their masters, as the eyes of a handmaid to the hand of her mistress, so are our eyes to the Lord our God, until He favors us.
3 Favor us, O Lord, favor us, for we are fully sated with contempt.
4 Our soul is fully sated with the ridicule of the complacent, the contempt [shown] to the valley of doves.
Fulfill G-d's Will.
