“The Righteous Person”

… Praiseworthy is each person who fears Hashem, who walks in His ways.
128:1
When you eat the labor of your hands, you are praiseworthy, and it is well with you.
:2
Behold, for so is blessed the man who fears Hashem.
:4
May Hashem bless you from Zion, and may you gaze upon the goodness of Jerusalem, all the days of your life.

1 A song of ascents. Praiseworthy is every man who fears the Lord, who walks in His ways.
2 If you eat the toil of your hands, you are praiseworthy, and it is good for you.
3 Your wife will be as a fruitful vine in the innermost parts of your house; your sons will be like olive shoots around your table.
4 Behold that so will a man who fears the Lord be blessed.
5 May the Lord bless you from Zion, and see the good of Jerusalem all the days of your life.
6 And may you see children [born] to your children, [and see] peace upon Israel.

The book of Tehillim (Psalms) with 150 prayers and hymns were composed by various authors, mainly King David, in ancient Israel. It has become one of the most cherished books in the Jewish bible. For generations, the Tehillim has been a source of inspiration and comfort to many.The Book of Joshua, in the Hebrew-Jewish Bible, narrates the entry of the Children of Israel into the Promised Land of Canaan and their conquest and partition of the land under the leadership of Joshua, as Moses’ successor. It details the Israelites’ miraculous crossing of the Jordan River, the fall of Jericho, the battles of Ai and Gibeon, and the division of the land among the twelve tribes. Joshua resonates with Moses, in which he exhorts the Israelites to remain faithful to G-d and His commandments.

The Book of Mishlei (Proverbs) in the Hebrew Bible. The book begins with a call to seek wisdom and understanding, and it describes the benefits that come from doing so, such as knowledge and discernment.Judges chronicles the history of the Israelites during the period between the conquest of the Land of Israel and the establishment of the monarchy. It contains accounts of the heroic deeds of various judges who led and rescued the Israelites from their enemies.
