Psalms Chapter 129 A Warning to All Haters of Israel—The Jews

Psalms To Those Who Hate Israel

All over the Hebrew Bible (Old Testament) evidently defines the Israelites (The Jews in our time) as G-d’s chosen people with the promise land (The Land Of Israel).

How can anyone hate whom G-d loves?

Reason behind, is their disobedience to G-d’s commandments.

All are written. Everything is foretold (prophesied).

G-d is in control. And Israel is one strong proof of G-d’s existence, and the way Israel’s existence of His sovereignty.

“Israel’s Survival”

Hashem is righteous, He cut the ropes of the wicked.”
129:4
Let them be ashamed and turned back, all who hate Zion.
:5
and of which passersby have never said, “Hashem’s blessing to you; we bless you in the name of Hashem.”
:8

1 A song of ascents. Much have they distressed me from my youth, Israel will say now.
2 Much have they distressed me from my youth, but also they have not prevailed against me.
3 On my back, the plowmen plowed; they lengthened their furrow.
4 The Lord is righteous; He will cut the ropes of the wicked.
5 May all those who hate Zion be ashamed and retreat.
6 May they be like the grass of the roofs, which, before it is plucked, withers.
7 Of which the reaper did not fill his hand, nor the gatherer his arm.
8 And the passers-by did not say, “May the blessing of the Lord be to you; we have blessed you in the name of the Lord.”

Fulfill G-d's Will.

Bible reading in the form of Scripture in pictures can have a profound impact on those who may have never read a chapter in the Hebrew Bible (Old Testament). Viewing pivotal verses in a visual context can deepen one’s understanding of the text and provide a unique perspective. The images may help to illustrate important themes and messages that may not have been as easily grasped through standard reading. Additionally, this method can be particularly beneficial for those who struggle with traditional reading methods or for those who are more visually inclined. The power of visual storytelling has been utilized for centuries, and when paired with the timeless words of Scripture, it has the potential to bring new life and meaning to the ancient text. Ultimately, whatever method one chooses to engage with the Bible, the most important thing is to seek a deeper understanding of God’s word, and to apply it to our lives in a meaningful way.
