Psalms Chapter 13 When Failure and Defeat Seem Inevitable Being Righteous

Psalms Takes On What Appears To Be Otherwise

When evil, wicked or ungodly obtains success against the failure of the righteous, be encouraged that you are not to trust in your own strength, but G-d alone.

Whatever G-d gives, did not give or takes away from you, is and will always be best for you.

Keep the faith in Him alone; none other.

“When Evil Triumphs Over The Good”

How long, Hashem will You endlessly forget me? How long will You hide Your countenance from me?
13:2
Look! Answer me, Hashem, my God! Enlighten my eyes, lest I sleep the sleep of death,
:4
Lest my enemy boast, “I have overcome him!”; lest my tormentors rejoice when I falter.
:5
But as for me, I trust in Your kindness, my heart will exult in Your salvation, I will sing to Hashem, for He has dealt kindly with me.
:6

1 To the conductor, a song of David.
2 How long, O Lord? Will You forget me forever? How long will You hide Your face from me?
3 How long will I take counsel in my soul, having sorrow in my heart by day; how long will my enemy have the upper hand over me?
4 Look and answer me, O Lord my God; enlighten my eyes lest I sleep the sleep of death.
5 Lest my enemy say, “I have overwhelmed him”; my adversaries will rejoice when I totter.
6 But I trusted in Your loving-kindness, my heart will rejoice in Your salvation; I will sing to the Lord for He has bestowed [it] upon me.

Fulfill G-d's Will.

Bible reading in the form of Scripture in pictures can have a profound impact on those who may have never read a chapter in the Hebrew Bible (Old Testament). Viewing pivotal verses in a visual context can deepen one’s understanding of the text and provide a unique perspective. The images may help to illustrate important themes and messages that may not have been as easily grasped through standard reading. Additionally, this method can be particularly beneficial for those who struggle with traditional reading methods or for those who are more visually inclined. The power of visual storytelling has been utilized for centuries, and when paired with the timeless words of Scripture, it has the potential to bring new life and meaning to the ancient text. Ultimately, whatever method one chooses to engage with the Bible, the most important thing is to seek a deeper understanding of God’s word, and to apply it to our lives in a meaningful way.
