16:1
Their sorrows will multiply, those who rush after other [gods]; I shall not pour their libations of blood; I shall not carry their names upon my lips.

Hashem is my allotted portion and my share, You guide my destiny.

I have set Hashem before me always; because He is at my right hand I shall not falter.

Because You will not abandon my soul to the grave, You will not allow Your devout one to witness destruction.

You will make known to me the path of life, the fullness of joys in Your Presence, the delights that are in Your right hand for eternity.

1 A michtam of David; O God, guard me for I have taken refuge in You.
2 You should say to the Lord, “You are my Master; my good is not incumbent upon You.
3 For the holy ones who are in the earth, and the mighty ones in whom is all my delight.
4 May the sorrows of those who hasten after another [deity] increase; I will not pour their libations of blood, nor will I take their names upon my lips.
5 The Lord is my allotted portion and my cup; You guide my destiny.
6 Portions have fallen to me in pleasant places; even the inheritance pleases me.”
7 I will bless the Lord, Who counseled me; even at night my conscience instructs me.
8 I have placed the Lord before me constantly; because [He is] at my right hand, I will not falter.
9 Therefore, my heart rejoiced, and my soul was glad; even my flesh shall dwell in safety.
10 For You shall not forsake my soul to the grave; You shall not allow Your pious one to see the pit.
11 You shall let me know the way of life, the fullness of joys in Your presence. There is pleasantness in Your right hand forever.

The book of Tehillim (Psalms) with 150 prayers and hymns were composed by various authors, mainly King David, in ancient Israel. It has become one of the most cherished books in the Jewish bible. For generations, the Tehillim has been a source of inspiration and comfort to many.The Book of Joshua, in the Hebrew-Jewish Bible, narrates the entry of the Children of Israel into the Promised Land of Canaan and their conquest and partition of the land under the leadership of Joshua, as Moses’ successor. It details the Israelites’ miraculous crossing of the Jordan River, the fall of Jericho, the battles of Ai and Gibeon, and the division of the land among the twelve tribes. Joshua resonates with Moses, in which he exhorts the Israelites to remain faithful to G-d and His commandments.

The Book of Mishlei (Proverbs) in the Hebrew Bible. The book begins with a call to seek wisdom and understanding, and it describes the benefits that come from doing so, such as knowledge and discernment.Judges chronicles the history of the Israelites during the period between the conquest of the Land of Israel and the establishment of the monarchy.
