Psalms Chapter 25 Knowing Hashem and Trusting in Him Alone

To the humble righteousness is found.

Truth awaits those who seek G-d with a sincere heart.

Forgiveness of sins G-d bestows to you who repents and confesses.

“The Humble Who Seeks G-d”

My God, in You I have trusted, let me not be shamed; let not my enemies exult over me.
25:2
Also, let none who hope in You be shamed; …
25:3
Make Your ways known to me, Hashem; teach me Your paths.
:4
Lead me in Your truth and teach me, for You are the God of my salvation, to You I have hoped all the day.
:5
Remember Your mercies, Hashem, and Your kindness, for they are eternal.
:6
Remember not the sins of my youth and my rebellions; may You remember for me [the deeds] worthy of Your kindness, because of Your goodness, Hashem,
:7
Good and upright is Hashem, therefore He guides sinners on the way,
:8
He leads the humble with justice, and teaches His way to the humble.
:9
All the ways of Hashem are kindness and truth, to those who guard His covenant and testimonies,
:10
For Your Name’s sake, Hashem, pardon my guilt for it is great.
:11
Whosoever is the man who fears Hashem, He will teach him the way that he should choose.
:12
The secret of Hashem is to those who fear Him, and His covenant to inform them.
:14
My eyes are constantly toward Hashem, for He will remove my feet from the snare.
:15
Turn to me and show me favor, for I am alone and afflicted.
:16
See my afflictions and my toil, and forgive all my sins.
:18
Protect my soul and rescue me; let me not be ashamed, for I take refuge in You.
:20
Redeem Israel, O God, from all its distresses.

1 Of David. To You, O Lord, I will lift up my soul.
2 My God, I trusted in You; let me not be ashamed. Nor shall my enemies rejoice over me.
3 Neither shall any of those who hope for You be ashamed; let those who betray [to the extent of] destitution be ashamed.
4 O Lord, let me know Your ways; teach me Your paths.
5 Direct me with Your truth and teach me, for You are the God of my salvation; I hope for You all day long.
6 Remember Your mercies, O Lord, and Your kindnesses, for they have been since time immemorial.
7 The sins of my youth and my transgressions, do not remember; what is worthy of Your kindness, You remember for me, for the sake of Your goodness, O Lord.
8 The Lord is good and upright; therefore, He leads sinners on the road.
9 He leads the humble with just rules and He teaches the humble His way.
10 All the Lord’s ways are kindness and truth for those who keep His covenant and His testimonies.
11 For Your name’s sake, O Lord, You shall forgive my iniquity, for it is great.
12 Who is this man who fears the Lord? He will guide him on the road that he chooses.
13 His soul shall abide in prosperity, and his seed shall inherit the earth.
14 The secret of the Lord is with those who fear Him, and His covenant is to let them know [it].
15 My eyes are always to God for He will take my feet out of the net.
16 Turn to me and be gracious to me, for I am alone and poor.
17 The troubles of my heart have increased; deliver me from my straits.
18 See my affliction and my toil, and forgive all my sins.
19 See my enemies for they have increased, and they hate me with unjust hatred.
20 Guard my soul and save me; let me not be shamed for I have taken refuge in You.
21 Sincerity and uprightness shall guard me, for I have hoped for You.
22 O God, redeem Israel from all its troubles.

The book of Tehillim (Psalms) with 150 prayers and hymns were composed by various authors, mainly King David, in ancient Israel. It has become one of the most cherished books in the Jewish bible. For generations, the Tehillim has been a source of inspiration and comfort to many.The Book of Joshua, in the Hebrew-Jewish Bible, narrates the entry of the Children of Israel into the Promised Land of Canaan and their conquest and partition of the land under the leadership of Joshua, as Moses’ successor. It details the Israelites’ miraculous crossing of the Jordan River, the fall of Jericho, the battles of Ai and Gibeon, and the division of the land among the twelve tribes. Joshua resonates with Moses, in which he exhorts the Israelites to remain faithful to G-d and His commandments.

The Book of Mishlei (Proverbs) in the Hebrew Bible. The book begins with a call to seek wisdom and understanding, and it describes the benefits that come from doing so, such as knowledge and discernment.Judges chronicles the history of the Israelites during the period between the conquest of the Land of Israel and the establishment of the monarchy.
