A true character of the godly; not show-off or politics.

“Salvation Is Of G-d Alone”

But You, Hashem are a shield for me, for my soul, and the One Who raises my head.

With my voice I call out to Hashem, and He answers me from His holy mountain.

I lay down and slept, yet I awoke, for Hashem supports me.

Salvation is Hashem’s, upon Your people is Your blessing, Selah.

1 A song of David, when he fled from Absalom his son.
2 O Lord, how many have my adversaries become! Great men rise up against me.
3 Great men say concerning my soul, “He has no salvation in God to eternity.”
4 But You, O Lord, are a shield about me, my glory and He Who raises up my head.
5 With my voice, I call to the Lord, and He answered me from His holy mount to eternity.
6 I lay down and slept; I awoke, for the Lord will support me.
7 I will not fear ten thousands of people, who have set themselves against me all around.
8 Arise, O Lord, save me, my God, for You have struck all my enemies on the cheek; You have broken the teeth of the wicked.
9 It is incumbent upon the Lord to save, and it is incumbent upon Your people to bless You forever.

The book of Tehillim (Psalms) with 150 prayers and hymns were composed by various authors, mainly King David, in ancient Israel. It has become one of the most cherished books in the Jewish bible. For generations, the Tehillim has been a source of inspiration and comfort to many.The Book of Joshua, in the Hebrew-Jewish Bible, narrates the entry of the Children of Israel into the Promised Land of Canaan and their conquest and partition of the land under the leadership of Joshua, as Moses’ successor. It details the Israelites’ miraculous crossing of the Jordan River, the fall of Jericho, the battles of Ai and Gibeon, and the division of the land among the twelve tribes. Joshua resonates with Moses, in which he exhorts the Israelites to remain faithful to G-d and His commandments.

The Book of Mishlei (Proverbs) in the Hebrew Bible. The book begins with a call to seek wisdom and understanding, and it describes the benefits that come from doing so, such as knowledge and discernment.Judges chronicles the history of the Israelites during the period between the conquest of the Land of Israel and the establishment of the monarchy. It contains accounts of the heroic deeds of various judges who led and rescued the Israelites from their enemies.
