Psalms Chapter 57 When Truth Matters

Psalms On Taking G-d As Protection

Truth of and from G-d prevails.

Give thanks to G-d among the peoples.

Faith.

“Absolute Faith In G-d”

Favor me, O God, favor me, for in You has my soul taken refuge; and in the shelter of Your wings I shall take refuge until devastation shall pass.
57:2
I will call upon God, Most High, to the God Who fulfills for me.
57:3
… God will dispatch His mercy and His truth.
:4
Be exalted above the heavens, O God, above all the earth be Your glory.
:6
They prepared a snare for my footsteps, my soul is bent over; they dug a pit before me; they fell into it, Selah.
:7
My heart is steadfast, O God, my heart is steadfast; I will sing and I will make music.
:8
I will thank You among the peoples, O Lord; I will sing to You among the regimes.
:10
For great until the very heavens is Your kindness, and until the upper heights is Your truth.
:11
Be exalted above the heavens, O God; above all the earth be Your glory.
:12

1 For the conductor, al tashcheth, of David a michtam, when he fled from before Saul in the cave.
2 Be gracious to me, O God, be gracious to me, because my soul took refuge in You, and in the shadow of Your wings I will take refuge until the destruction passes.
3 I will call upon the Most High God, upon the God Who completes [what He promised] for me.
4 He will send from Heaven and save me from the disgrace of him who yearns to swallow me up forever; God will send His kindness and His truth.
5 My soul is among lions; I lie among men who are aflame; their teeth are [like] spears and arrows, and their tongue is [like] a sharp sword.
6 Be exalted above the heavens, O God; over all the earth be Your glory.
7 They prepared a net for my steps, he bent down my soul; they dug a pit before me, they will fall into it forever.
8 My heart is steadfast with God, my heart is steadfast; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises.
9 Awaken, my honor; awaken [me], lyre and harp; I will awaken the dawn.
10 I will thank You among the peoples, O Lord; I will sing Your praises among the kingdoms.
11 For Your kindness is great up to the heavens, and Your truth is up to the skies.
12 Be exalted above the heavens, O God, over all the earth be Your glory.

Fulfill G-d's Will.

Bible reading in the form of Scripture in pictures can have a profound impact on those who may have never read a chapter in the Hebrew Bible (Old Testament). Viewing pivotal verses in a visual context can deepen one’s understanding of the text and provide a unique perspective. The images may help to illustrate important themes and messages that may not have been as easily grasped through standard reading. Additionally, this method can be particularly beneficial for those who struggle with traditional reading methods or for those who are more visually inclined. The power of visual storytelling has been utilized for centuries, and when paired with the timeless words of Scripture, it has the potential to bring new life and meaning to the ancient text. Ultimately, whatever method one chooses to engage with the Bible, the most important thing is to seek a deeper understanding of God’s word, and to apply it to our lives in a meaningful way.
