Psalms Chapter 85 On G-d’s Forgiveness

G-d’s fury may subside immediately upon sincere repentance.

His kindness yields salvation to those who fear Him.

“Permanent Restoration Of G-d’s People With His Temple”

You have forgiven the iniquity of Your people; You have covered up their entire sin, Selah.
85:3
Show us Your kindness, Hashem, and grant us Your salvation.
:8
I can hear what the Almighty, Hashem, will speak; for He speaks peace to His people and to His devout ones, and they will not revert to folly.
:9
Surely His salvation is close to those who fear Him, …
:10
Kindness and Truth have met, Righteousness and Peace have kissed;
:11
Truth will sprout from earth, and Righteousness will peer from heaven.
:12
[The man of] righteousness will walk before Him, and set his footsteps on the way.
:13

1 For the conductor, a song of the sons of Korah.
2 O Lord, You have appeased Your land; You have returned the Captivity of Jacob.
3 You have forgiven the iniquity of Your people; You have concealed all their sin forever.
4 You have taken in all Your wrath; You have retreated from the fierceness of Your anger.
5 Return us, O God of our salvation and revoke Your anger with us.
6 Will You be wroth with us forever? Will You extend Your anger to generation after generation?
7 Will You not return and revive us so that Your people will rejoice with You?
8 Show us, O Lord, Your kindness, and Your salvation You shall give to us.
9 I shall hear what God will speak when He speaks peace to His people and to His pious men, and they will not return to folly.
10 Truly, His salvation is near those who fear Him, so that His glory dwell in our land.
11 Kindness and truth have met; righteousness and peace have kissed.
12 Truth will sprout from the earth, and righteousness will look down from heaven.
13 God too will give good, and our land will give its produce.
14 Righteousness will go before him, and He will place it on the way of his steps.

Fulfill G-d's Will.

Bible reading in the form of Scripture in pictures can have a profound impact on those who may have never read a chapter in the Hebrew Bible (Old Testament). Viewing pivotal verses in a visual context can deepen one’s understanding of the text and provide a unique perspective. The images may help to illustrate important themes and messages that may not have been as easily grasped through standard reading. Additionally, this method can be particularly beneficial for those who struggle with traditional reading methods or for those who are more visually inclined. The power of visual storytelling has been utilized for centuries, and when paired with the timeless words of Scripture, it has the potential to bring new life and meaning to the ancient text. Ultimately, whatever method one chooses to engage with the Bible, the most important thing is to seek a deeper understanding of God’s word, and to apply it to our lives in a meaningful way.
