Psalms Chapter 86 Because Truth Matters. Falsehood is Futile and Deserve Punishment

Psalms To Those Who Are Constantly Connected With G-d

G-d is alone, as it is mentioned time and time and over and over again.

Not having confidence in himself; but in G-d alone.

Seeking His mercy, compassion, kindness and truth.

Guard my soul, for I am devout; save Your servant who trusts You, O You, my God.
86:2
Show me favor, O Lord, for to You do I call all the day.
86:3
Gladden the soul of Your servant, for to You, O Lord, I lift up my soul.

For You, O Lord, are good and forgiving and abundantly kind to all who call upon You.
:5
Give ear, Hashem, to my prayer, and heed the sound of my supplications.
:6
On the day of my distress I call upon You, for You will answer me.
:7
There is none like You among the powers, O Lord, and there is nothing like Your works.
:8
For You are great and work wonders; You alone are God.
:10
Teach me, O Hashem, Your way, that I may travel in Your truth, unite my heart to fear Your Name.
:11
I will thank You, O Lord, my God, with all my heart, and I will give honor to Your Name forever.
:12
But You, O Lord, are the Merciful and Compassionate God, Slow to Anger, Abundant in Kindness and Truth.

Display for me a sign for good; so that my enemies may see it and be ashamed, for You, Hashem, will have helped and consoled me.

1 A prayer of David. O Lord, incline Your ear; answer me for I am poor and needy.
2 Watch my soul for I am a pious man; save Your servant-You, my God-who trusts in You.
3 Be gracious to me, O Lord, for I call to You all the days.
4 Cause the soul of Your servant to rejoice, for to You, O Lord, I lift my soul.
5 For You, O Lord, are good and forgiving, with much kindness to all who call You.
6 Lend Your ear, O Lord, to my prayer, and hearken to the voice of my supplications.
7 On the day of my distress I shall call You, for You will answer me.
8 There is none like You among the godly, O Lord, neither is there any like Your works.
9 All nations that You made will come and prostrate themselves before You, O Lord, and glorify Your name.
10 For You are great and perform wonders, You, O God, alone.
11 Teach me Your way, O Lord; I shall walk in Your truth. Unify my heart to fear Your name.
12 I shall thank You, O Lord my God, with all my heart, and I shall glorify Your name forever.
13 For Your kindness is great toward me, and You have saved my soul from the lowest depths of the grave.
14 O God, willful transgressors have risen against me, and a company of mighty ones have sought my life, and they did not place You before themselves.
15 But You, O Lord, are a compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger and with much kindness and truth.
16 Turn to me and be gracious to me; grant Your might to Your servant and save the son of Your maidservant.
17 Grant me a sign for good, and let my enemies see [it] and be ashamed, for You, O Lord, have helped me and comforted me.

The book of Tehillim (Psalms) with 150 prayers and hymns were composed by various authors, mainly King David, in ancient Israel. It has become one of the most cherished books in the Jewish bible. For generations, the Tehillim has been a source of inspiration and comfort to many.The Book of Joshua, in the Hebrew-Jewish Bible, narrates the entry of the Children of Israel into the Promised Land of Canaan and their conquest and partition of the land under the leadership of Joshua, as Moses’ successor. It details the Israelites’ miraculous crossing of the Jordan River, the fall of Jericho, the battles of Ai and Gibeon, and the division of the land among the twelve tribes. Joshua resonates with Moses, in which he exhorts the Israelites to remain faithful to G-d and His commandments.

The Book of Mishlei (Proverbs) in the Hebrew Bible. The book begins with a call to seek wisdom and understanding, and it describes the benefits that come from doing so, such as knowledge and discernment.Judges chronicles the history of the Israelites during the period between the conquest of the Land of Israel and the establishment of the monarchy. It contains accounts of the heroic deeds of various judges who led and rescued the Israelites from their enemies.
