Chapter 4
Zechariah Chapter 4 Guarantees that G-d is in Complete Control with the Affairs of the World including Satan
Zechariah On The Vision Of Menorah (Candelabrum)
Signs do tell tale of what is due to happen before it happens to either keep you away from its greater danger.
This is just one proof that G-d is all over the place seeing your actions, reactions and intentions behind each move.
On another note, the impossible is bound to happen if and when G-d decreed it or intervenes.
“The Menorah Vision”
“Only Through My Spirit”
He said to me, “What do you see?” I said, “I see and behold — there is a menorah [made] entirely of gold with its bowl on its top; its seven lamps are upon it, and there are seven ducts for [each of] the lamps on its top.
4:2
He spoke up and said to me, saying, “This is the word of Hashem to Zerubabbel, saying, ‘Not through army and not through strength, but through My spirit, said Hashem, Master of Legions.
:6
… The eyes of Hashem — they scan the whole world!”
:10
He said, “These are the two anointed men who are standing by the Lord of all the land.”
:14
1 And the angel who spoke with me returned, and he awakened me as a man who wakes up from his sleep.
2 And he said to me, “What do you see?” And I said, “I saw, and behold [there was] a candelabrum all of gold, with its oil-bowl on top of it, and its seven lamps thereon; seven tubes each to the lamps that were on top of it.
3 And [there were] two olive trees near it; one on the right of the bowl, and one on its left.
4 So I answered and spoke to the angel who talked with me, saying, “What are these, my lord?”
5 And the angel who spoke with me answered, and he said to me, “Do you not know what these are?” And I said, “No, my lord.”
6 And he answered and spoke to me, saying, “This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel, saying: ‘Not by military force and not by physical strength, but by My spirit,’ says the Lord of Hosts.
7 Who are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you sink to a plain! He will bring out the stone of the main architect, with shouts of grace, grace to it.”
8 And the word of the Lord came to me, saying:
9 Zerubbabel’s hands founded this house, and his hands shall complete [it], and you shall know that the Lord of Hosts sent me to you.
10 For, whoever despised the day of small things shall rejoice and see the plummet in Zerubbabel’s hand; these, sevenfold; the eyes of the Lord are roving to and fro throughout all the earth.
11 And I raised my voice and said to him, “What are these two olive trees on the right of the candelabrum and on its left?”
12 And I raised my voice a second time and said to him, “What are the two olive branches beside the two golden vats that empty out the gold[en oil] from themselves?”
13 And he spoke to me, saying, “Do you not know what these are?” And I said, “No, my lord.”
14 And he said, “These are the two anointed ones who stand before the Lord of all the earth.”
Hashem as One.
