Zechariah Chapter 6 Another Proof of G-d’s Sovereignty Being in Control of Our World’s Affairs

Zechariah On Prophecy Of Global Scale

Earthquakes, hurricanes, typhoons and other catastrophes or tragedies be it natural or man-made, all are under G-d’s control.

Science may prove or tell you why, but only within the limits of human minds, not beyond.

“Vision Of The Chariots”

“Building Of The Temple”

Once again I raised up my eyes and saw, and behold, four chariots were emerging from between two mountains, and the mountains were mountains of copper.
6:1
The angel answered and said to me, “These are going out [to] the four directions of the heavens, from standing before the Lord of all the earth.
:5
People from far away will come and build the Sanctuary of Hashem, and then you will know that Hashem, Master of Legions, has sent me to you. This will happen if you truly listen to the voice of Hashem your God.”
:15

1 And I returned and lifted my eyes and saw-and behold!- four chariots were coming forth from between the two mountains, and the mountains were mountains of copper.
2 In the first chariot were red horses, and in the second chariot were black horses.
3 And in the third chariot were white horses, and in the fourth chariot were spotted, ash-colored horses.
4 And I raised my voice and said to the angel who spoke to me, “What are these, my lord?”
5 And the angel replied and said to me, “These are the four corners of the heavens coming forth from standing beside the Lord of the entire earth.”
6 The one [chariot] the black horses were in was going forth to the northland, and the white ones went forth after them. And the spotted ones went forth to the southland.
7 And the ash-colored ones went forth and begged to go to walk to and fro on the earth. And He said, “Go, walk to and fro on the earth.” And they walked to and fro on the earth.
8 And he cried out to me, saying, “Look, those going forth to the northland have eased My spirit in the northland.”
9 And the word of the Lord came to me, saying:
10 Take from the exiles-from Heldai and from Tobijah and from Jedaiah-and you, yourself, shall come on that day, and you shall come to the house of Josiah the son of Zephaniah, who have come from Babylon.
11 And you shall take silver and gold, and you shall make crowns, and place [them] upon the head of Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the High Priest.
12 And you shall speak to him, saying, “So said the Lord of Hosts, saying: Behold a man whose name is the Shoot, who will spring up out of his place and build the Temple of the Lord.
13 And he shall build the Temple of the Lord, and he shall bear glory. And he shall sit and rule on his throne, and the priest shall be on his throne. And a counsel of peace shall be between them [both].
14 And the crowns shall be for Helem, and for Tobijah, and for Jedaiah, and for Hen the son of Zephaniah, as a memorial in the Temple of the Lord.
15 And distant ones shall come and build in the Temple of the Lord, and you shall know that the Lord of Hosts sent me to you. And it shall come to pass if you hearken to the voice of the Lord your God.

Hashem as One.

Bible reading in the form of Scripture in pictures can have a profound impact on those who may have never read a chapter in the Hebrew Bible (Old Testament). Viewing pivotal verses in a visual context can deepen one’s understanding of the text and provide a unique perspective. The images may help to illustrate important themes and messages that may not have been as easily grasped through standard reading. Additionally, this method can be particularly beneficial for those who struggle with traditional reading methods or for those who are more visually inclined. The power of visual storytelling has been utilized for centuries, and when paired with the timeless words of Scripture, it has the potential to bring new life and meaning to the ancient text. Ultimately, whatever method one chooses to engage with the Bible, the most important thing is to seek a deeper understanding of God’s word, and to apply it to our lives in a meaningful way.
