Chronicles On G-d’s Everlasting Covenant

All the gods of the nations (Jesus, Trinity, Triune or 3-in-1 G-d) are nothings!

Anything that G-d never commanded through His servants the prophets are against His commands.

This is one of the best chapters in the book of Chronicles.

“Remembrance And Thanksgiving”

“G-d’s Mercy And Salvation”

They brought the Ark of God and set it up inside the tent that David had pitched for it; and David offered burnt-offerings before God.
16:1
He stationed some of the Levites before the Ark of Hashem as ministers, and to chant Remembrances, Thanksgivings and Praises to Hashem, God of Israel:
:4
Give thanks to Hashem, declare His Name, declare his Name; make His acts known among the nations.
:8
Sing to Him, make music to Him, speak of all His wonders.
:9
Glory in His holy Name; may the heart of those who seek Hashem be glad.
:10
Search out Hashem and His might, seek His Presence always.
:11
Remember His wonders that He wrought, His marvels and the judgments of His mouth.
:12
O seed of Israel His servant, O children of Jacob, His chosen ones,
:13
He is Hashem our God; over all the earth are His ordinances.
:14
Remember His covenant forever, the word He commanded for a thousand generations —
:15
that He covenanted with Abraham, and His oath to Isaac.
:16
Then He established it for Jacob as a statute, for Israel as an everlasting covenant,
:17
saying, ‘To you I shall give the land of Canaan, the lot of your heritage.’
:18
He allowed no man to rob them, and He rebuked kings for their sake:
:21
‘Dare not touch My anointed ones, and to My prophets do no harm.’
:22
Sing to Hashem, everyone on earth, announce His salvation daily.
:23
Relate His glory among the nations, and His wonders among all the peoples —
:24
that Hashem is great and exceedingly lauded, awesome is he above all heavenly powers.
:25
For all the gods of the nations are nothings, but Hashem made the heavens.
:26
Glory and majesty are before Him; might and joy are His place.
:27
Render unto Hashem, O families of peoples — render unto Hashem honor and might;
:28
render unto Hashem honor worthy of His Name. Take an offering and come before Him; prostrate yourselves before Hashem in His intensely holy place.
:29
Tremble before Him, everyone on earth; let the world be fixed so that it cannot falter.
:30
The heavens will be glad and the earth will rejoice; let them declare among the peoples, ‘Hashem reigns!’
:31
… for He will have come to judge the earth.
:33
Give thanks to Hashem for He is good; for his kindness endures forever!
:34
Say, ‘Save us, O God of our salvation; … to give thanks to Your holy Name, to glory in Your praise.’
:35
Blessed is Hashem, God of Israel, from This World to the World to Come! And the entire nation said, “Amen” and “praise to Hashem!”
:36
Zadok the Kohen and his brethren the Kohanim served before the Tabernacle of Hashem, at the High Place that was in Gibeon,
:39
to bring up burnt-offerings to Hashem upon the Altar of Burnt-Offerings continuously morning and evening, according to all that is written in the Torah of Hashem, which He had commanded Israel.
:40
… to give thanks to Hashem, for His mercy is forever.
:41
All the people then went back to their homes, and David turned to bless his [own] household.
:43

1 And they brought the Ark of God, and they set it up in the midst of the tent that David had pitched for it, and they offered burnt- offerings and peace-offerings before God.
2 And David finished offering up the burnt-offering[s] and the peace-offerings, and he blessed the people in the Name of the Lord.
3 And he distributed to every person of Israel, both to men and women, to each individual a loaf of bread and a portion of meat and a flask of wine.
4 And he stationed before the Ark of the Lord some of the ministering Levites, and to make mention and to give thanks and to praise the Lord God of Israel.
5 Asaph the leader and second to him Zechariah, Jeiel and Shemiramoth and Jehiel and Mattithiah and Eliab and Benaiah and Obed-Edom and Jeiel, with instruments of psalteries and with harps, and Asaph was resounding with the cymbals.
6 And Benaiah and Jahaziel the priests with trumpets constantly, were before the Ark of the Covenant of God.
7 On that day, David ordained to give thanks to the Lord by the hand of Asaph and his brethren.
8 “Give thanks to the Lord, call out in His Name; make His exploits known among the peoples.
9 Sing to Him, play music to Him, speak of all His wonders.
10 Glory in His holy Name; may the heart of those who seek the Lord rejoice.
11 Search for the Lord and His might; seek His presence constantly.
12 Remember His wonders, which He performed, His miracles and the judgments of His mouth.
13 The seed of Israel His servant, the children of Jacob, His chosen ones.
14 He is the Lord our God; throughout the earth are His judgments.
15 Remember His covenant forever, the word which He commanded to a thousand generations.
16 [The covenant] which He had made with Abraham, and His oath to Isaac.
17 And He set it up for Jacob as a statute, to Israel as an everlasting covenant.
18 Saying: To you I shall give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance.”
19 When you were few in number, hardly dwelling in it.
20 And when they walked from nation to nation, and from one kingdom to another people.
21 He let no man oppress them, and He reproved kings on their account;
22 “Do not touch My anointed ones, and do not harm My prophets.”
23 Sing to the Lord, all the earth; announce His salvation from day to day.
24 Tell of His glory among the nations, among all peoples His wonders.
25 For the Lord is great and very much praised; He is feared over all gods.
26 For all the gods of the peoples are idols, but the Lord made the heavens.
27 There is beauty and majesty before Him; might and joy in His place.
28 Ascribe to the Lord, [you] families of peoples, ascribe to the Lord glory and might.
29 Ascribe to the Lord the glory of His name; carry an offering and come before Him; bow down to the Lord in the beauty of holiness.
30 Quake before Him, all the earth; also the inhabited world will be established so that it will not falter.
31 The heavens will rejoice and the earth will exult, and they will say among the nations, “The Lord has reigned.”
32 The sea and the fullness thereof will roar. The field and all that is therein will jubilate.
33 Then all the forest trees will sing praises, before the Lord, for He has come to judge the earth.
34 Give thanks to the Lord for He is good, for His loving-kindness exists forever.
35 And say, “Save us, O God of our salvation, and gather us and save us from the nations, to give thanks to Your holy Name, to triumph in your praise.”
36 Blessed is the Lord, the God of Israel from all times past, and to all times to come.” And all the people said, “Amen,” and praised the Lord.
37 And he left before the Ark of the Lord Asaph and his brethren to serve before the Ark continually as every day’s work required.
38 And Obed-Edom and his brethren [were] sixty-eight, and Obed-Edom the son of Jeduthun and Hosah for gate sentries.
39 And Zadok the priest and his brethren the priests were before the Tabernacle of the Lord in the high place that was in Gibeon.
40 To offer up burnt offerings to the Lord upon the altar of the burnt offering constantly in the morning and in the evening, and for all that is written in the Law of the Lord, which He commanded upon Israel.
41 And with them were Heman and Jeduthun and the rest of the chosen ones who were designated with names, to give thanks to the Lord, for His loving-kindness exists forever.
42 And with them, Heman and Jeduthun, were trumpets and cymbals for resounding, and instruments of the song of God, and the sons of Jeduthun were [appointed] over the gate.
43 And all the people went, each one to his house, and David returned to bless his household.
