“Building Jerusalem’s Wall”
“Prayer Of Nehemiah”
It happened when Sanballat heard that we were building the wall that he became enraged and he grew extremely angry, and he ridiculed the Jews.
:33
Tobiah the Ammonite was next to him, and he said, “Even that which they build, if [even] a fox were to go up, he would breach their stone wall!”
:35
“Hear, our God, that we are an object of scorn! Return their humiliation upon their own heads! Make them despoiled in a land of captivity!
:36
Do not cover up their sins, nor let their transgressions be eradicated from before You, for they have reviled the builders.”
:37
Yet we built the wall. When the entire wall was joined halfway, the people were heartened to accomplish!
:38

33 And it came to pass when Sanballat heard that we were building the wall, he became wroth and was very angry, and he ridiculed the Jews.
34 And he spoke before his brethren and the army of Samaria, and he said, “What are the feeble Jews doing? Will they let them? Will they sacrifice? Will they finish in one day? Will they revive the stones from the heaps of dust, for they are burnt?”
35 And Tobiah the Ammonite was beside him, and he said, “Even what they build, if a fox comes up and breaches the wall of their stones..?”
36 “Hearken, our God, for we have been despised, and return their reproach upon their head and cause them to be despised in a land of captivity.
37 And do not conceal their iniquity and do not erase their sin from before You, for they have provoked the builders.”
38 But we built the wall, and the entire wall was built to its half, and the people had a desire to build.
