Proverbs Chapter 19 Describes a Person Who Reject G-d’s Commandments or Laws

Proverbs On Wealth And Deeds

What better way to live a righteous life than to obey G-d’s commandments. From Genesis to Malachi there is never a verse that G-d ever rewarded a person of not obeying His laws, teachings, instructions, decrees, statutes, precepts, ordinances and commandments.

Sadly, Christians do not know or playing innocent or ignorant that the Greek book teaches the exact opposite from what is written in the Hebrew Bible (Old Testament).

“The Poor Versus The Foolish”

Also, for the soul to be without knowledge is not good, and he who quickens his feet [without reflection] is a sinner.
19:2
A man’s foolishness corrupts his way, and his heart rages against Hashem.
19:3
Wealth adds many friends, but the poor man is parted from his fellow.
:4
One who acquires understanding loves his soul, guarding understanding to find good.
:8
It is intelligent of a person to be slow to anger, and his splendor to ignore an offense.
:11
A house and wealth are an inheritance from fathers, but an intelligent woman comes from Hashem.
:14
He who observes a commandment safeguards his soul; one who scorns his [proper] ways will die.
:16
One who is gracious to the poor has lent to Hashem, and He will pay him his reward.
:17
Hear counsel and accept discipline in order that you grow wise in your later days.
:20
Many designs are in a man’s heart, but the counsel of Hashem, only it will prevail.
:21
… but a pauper is better than a [rich] man who deceives.
:22
The fear of Hashem brings life; such a person will rest sated and not be remembered for evil.
:23
To obey discipline, my son, is to cease to stray from words of knowledge.
:27
The lawless witness will mock judgment, and the mouth of the wicked will swallow [his words of] iniquity.
:28

1Better a poor man who walks innocently than one with perverse lips, who is a fool.
2It is also not good that a soul be without knowledge, and he who hastens with his feet sins.
3A man’s folly perverts his way, but his heart is wroth with the Lord.
4Wealth adds many friends, but a poor man is separated from his friend.
5A false witness will not go unpunished, and one who speaks lies will not escape.
6The great will beg the favor of a generous man, and everyone is a friend to a man who gives gifts.
7All the kinsmen of a poor man hate him; surely his friends distance themselves from him; he pursues statements that are fit for him.
8He who acquires sense loves his soul; he who guards understanding will eventually find good.
9A false witness will not go unpunished, and one who speaks lies will perish.
10Pleasure does not befit a fool, much less a slave to rule over princes.
11It is good sense for a man to be slow to anger, and it is his glory to pass over a transgression.
12The King’s fury is like a lion’s roar, but His good will is like dew upon the grass.
13A foolish son is the calamity of his father, and the quarrels of a wife are [like] a constant dripping.
14A house and wealth are the heritage of the fathers, but an intelligent wife is from the Lord.
15Laziness causes one to fall into a deep sleep, and a deceitful soul shall suffer hunger.
16He who keeps a commandment keeps his soul; he who despises his ways will die.
17He who is gracious to a poor man lends to the Lord, and He will repay him his reward.
18Chastise your son for there is hope, but do not set your heart on his destruction.
19A hot-tempered man incurs punishment, but if you save you will yet increase.
20Hearken to advice and accept discipline, in order that you may be wise in your later years.
21There are many thoughts in a man’s heart, but God’s plan-that shall stand.
22The attraction to a man is his kindness, and a poor man is better than a liar.
23Fear of the Lord is for life, and he will rest satisfied, not to be visited by evil.
24A lazy man hid his hand in a kettle; he will not return it even to his mouth.
25Beat a scorner, and a simple man will gain cunning; reprove a man of understanding, and he will understand knowledge.
26A son who causes shame and disgrace robs his father, puts his mother to flight.
27My son, cease to stray from words of knowledge to hear discipline.
28A godless witness testifies judgment, but violence will devour the mouth of the wicked.
29Punishments are prepared for the scorners and blows for the body of fools.

Bible reading in the form of Scripture in pictures can have a profound impact on those who may have never read a chapter in the Hebrew Bible (Old Testament). Viewing pivotal verses in a visual context can deepen one’s understanding of the text and provide a unique perspective. The images may help to illustrate important themes and messages that may not have been as easily grasped through standard reading. Additionally, this method can be particularly beneficial for those who struggle with traditional reading methods or for those who are more visually inclined. The power of visual storytelling has been utilized for centuries, and when paired with the timeless words of Scripture, it has the potential to bring new life and meaning to the ancient text. Ultimately, whatever method one chooses to engage with the Bible, the most important thing is to seek a deeper understanding of God’s word, and to apply it to our lives in a meaningful way.
