Psalms Chapter 60 Salvation from Man is Disregarded Another Proof that G-d Did Not Become a Man

Psalms About Reliance On G-d Alone Not With Fellowmen

When it seems like all are not working to your favor, the more you need to seek out G-d’s salvation even further… by clinging to Him.

“Faith In G-d’s Assurance”

To those who fear You, You gave a banner to be raised high, for truth’s sake, Selah!
:6
Give us help against the oppressor; human salvation is futile.
:13
Through God we shall act valiantly, and He will trample our oppressors.
:14

1For the conductor, on shushan eduth, a michtam of David, to teach.
2When he fought with Aram-Naharaim and with Aram-Zobah, and Joab returned and smote twelve thousand of Edom in the valley of salt.
3O God, You have forsaken us; You have breached us; You were angry with us. You shall restore us.
4You caused the land to quake; You split it; heal its breaches for it has faltered.
5You have shown Your people harshness; You have given us to drink wine of bewilderment.
6You have given those who fear You trials with which to be tested, in order to beautify [Your behavior] forever.
7In order that Your beloved ones should be rescued, save Your right hand and answer me.
8God spoke in His Sanctuary; I will exult, I will divide a portion, and I will measure the valley of Succoth.
9Gilead is mine, and Manasseh is mine, and Ephraim is the strength of my head; Judah is my lawgiver.
10Moab is my washbasin; on Edom I will throw my lock; Philistia, join me.
11Who will bring me to a fortified city?-He Who led me to Edom?
12Is it not You, O God, Who has forsaken us, and [Who] does not go forth, O God, with our hosts?
13Give us aid against the adversary, but the salvation of man is futile.
14Through God we shall gather might, and He will trample our adversaries.

Fulfill G-d's Will.

Bible reading in the form of Scripture in pictures can have a profound impact on those who may have never read a chapter in the Hebrew Bible (Old Testament). Viewing pivotal verses in a visual context can deepen one’s understanding of the text and provide a unique perspective. The images may help to illustrate important themes and messages that may not have been as easily grasped through standard reading. Additionally, this method can be particularly beneficial for those who struggle with traditional reading methods or for those who are more visually inclined. The power of visual storytelling has been utilized for centuries, and when paired with the timeless words of Scripture, it has the potential to bring new life and meaning to the ancient text. Ultimately, whatever method one chooses to engage with the Bible, the most important thing is to seek a deeper understanding of God’s word, and to apply it to our lives in a meaningful way.
