Psalms Chapter 91 His Truth is Shield and Armor

Psalms On Protection And Security To All Who Trust And Have Full Confidence In Hashem, G-d

In darkest hour or difficult situation, G-d alone can provide comfort and deliverance.

Make your yearnings made known to Him.

“Seeking Refuge Only In The Most High”

Whoever sits in the refuge of the Most High, he shall dwell in the [protective] shade of the Almighty.
91:1
I will say of Hashem, “[He is] my refuge and my fortress, my God, I will trust in Him.”
:2
With His pinions He will cover you, and beneath His wings you will be protected; His truth is shield and armor.
:4
You shall not fear the terror of night; nor of the arrow that flies by day;
:5
Because [you said], “You, Hashem, are my refuge,” you have made the Most High your abode.
:9
No evil will befall You, nor will any plague come near your tent.
:10
He will charge His angels for you, to protect you in all your ways.
:11
For he has yearned for Me and I will deliver him, I will elevate him because he knows My Name.
:14
He will call upon Me and I will answer him, I am with him in distress; I will release him and I will bring him honor.
:15
With long life will I satisfy him, and I will show him My salvation.
:16

1 He who dwells in the covert of the Most High will lodge in the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I shall say of the Lord [that He is] my shelter and my fortress, my God in Whom I trust.
3 For He will save you from the snare that traps from the devastating pestilence.
4 With His wing He will cover you, and under His wings you will take refuge; His truth is an encompassing shield.
5 You will not fear the fright of night, the arrow that flies by day;
6 Pestilence that prowls in darkness, destruction that ravages at noon.
7 A thousand will be stationed at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it will not approach you.
8 You will but gaze with your eyes, and you will see the annihilation of the wicked.
9 For you [said], “The Lord is my refuge”; the Most High you made your dwelling.
10 No harm will befall you, nor will a plague draw near to your tent.
11 For He will command His angels on your behalf to guard you in all your ways.
12 On [their] hands they will bear you, lest your foot stumble on a stone.
13 On a young lion and a cobra you will tread; you will trample the young lion and the serpent.
14 For he yearns for Me, and I shall rescue him; I shall fortify him because he knows My name.
15 He will call Me and I shall answer him; I am with him in distress; I shall rescue him and I shall honor him.
16 With length of days I shall satiate him, and I shall show him My salvation.

The book of Tehillim (Psalms) with 150 prayers and hymns were composed by various authors, mainly King David, in ancient Israel. It has become one of the most cherished books in the Jewish bible. For generations, the Tehillim has been a source of inspiration and comfort to many.The Book of Joshua, in the Hebrew-Jewish Bible, narrates the entry of the Children of Israel into the Promised Land of Canaan and their conquest and partition of the land under the leadership of Joshua, as Moses’ successor. It details the Israelites’ miraculous crossing of the Jordan River, the fall of Jericho, the battles of Ai and Gibeon, and the division of the land among the twelve tribes. Joshua resonates with Moses, in which he exhorts the Israelites to remain faithful to G-d and His commandments.

The Book of Mishlei (Proverbs) in the Hebrew Bible. The book begins with a call to seek wisdom and understanding, and it describes the benefits that come from doing so, such as knowledge and discernment.Judges chronicles the history of the Israelites during the period between the conquest of the Land of Israel and the establishment of the monarchy.
