Chronicles On David As King Of Israel

The One true G-d versus false gods (v. 12)

G-d is never identified as Trinity, Triune or 3-in-1 G-d by His people.
Clearly, it has no room in the Holy Scripture (Old Testament); except that it has to be burned in fire!

“The Monarchy Is Established”

David realized that Hashem had established him as king over Israel — for his kingdom was greatly exalted — for the sake of His people Israel.
14:2
David married additional wives in Jerusalem [after he came there from Hebron], and David begot more sons and daughters.
14:3
The Philistines heard that David had been anointed as king of Israel, so all the Philistines came up to seek out David. David heard and went out before them.
:8
David inquired of God, … And Hashem answered David, “Go up, and I shall deliver them into your hands.”
:10
… “God has broken down my enemies through my hand, as water breaches [a barrier]”; …
:11
[The Philistines] had left their gods behind there; David gave the command and they were burned in fire.
:12
David inquired of God again, and God said to him, “Do not go up after them, but circle around from them, and approach them from opposite the mulberry trees.
:14
David did as God had commanded him, …
:16
David’s fame spread throughout all the lands, and Hashem placed his fear upon all the nations.
:17

1 And Hiram the king of Tyre sent emissaries to David and cedar wood and masons and carpenters to build him a house.
2 And David knew that the Lord had established him as king over Israel, because his kingdom had been exalted highly for the sake of His people Israel.
3 And David took more wives in Jerusalem, and David begot more sons and daughters.
4 And these are the names of those born whom he had in Jerusalem: Shammua, and Shobab, Nathan, and Solomon.
5 And Ibhar, and Elishua, and Elpelet.
6 And Nogah, and Nepheg, and Japhia.
7 And Elishama, and Beeljada, and Eliphelet.
8 And the Philistines heard that David had been anointed as king over all Israel, and all the Philistines went up to seek David, and David heard and went out before them.
9 And the Philistines came and spread out in the valley of Rephaim.
10 And David inquired of God, saying, “Shall I go up against the Philistines, and will You deliver them into my hand?” And the Lord said to him, “Go up, and I shall deliver them into your hand.”
11 And they went up to Baal-Perazim, and David smote them there, and David said, “God has broken my enemies in my hand like a breach of waters.” Therefore, they named that place Baal-Perazim.
12 And they abandoned their deities there, and David commanded, and they were burnt with fire.
13 And the Philistines continued further and spread out in the valley.
14 And David inquired again of God, and God said to him, “You shall not go up after them; circle them, and you shall come to them opposite the mulberry trees.
15 And it will be when you hear the sound of steps in the tops of the mulberry trees, then you shall go forth in the battle, because God has gone forth before you to smite the camp of the Philistines.”
16 And David did as God had commanded him, and they smote the camp of the Philistines from Gibeon until Gazerah.
17 And David’s fame went forth throughout all the lands, and the Lord placed the fear of him upon all the nations.
