My soul yearns, indeed it pines, for the courtyards of Hashem; my heart and my flesh pray fervently to the living God.
84:3
… Hashem, Master of Legions, my King and my God.

Praiseworthy is the man whose strength is in You, those whose hearts focus on upward paths.

Those who pass through the Valley of Thorns, they transform it into a wellspring; also the rain will cloak [it] with blessings.

Hashem, God, Master of Legions, hear my prayer; listen, O God of Jacob, Selah.
:9
For one day in Your courtyards is better than a thousand [elsewhere]; I prefer to stand exposed at the threshold of my God’s house than to dwell securely in the tents of wickedness.

For a sun and a shield is Hashem, God; favor and glory does Hashem bestow; He withholds no goodness from those who walk in perfect innocence.

Hashem, Master of Legions, praiseworthy is the man who trusts in You.

2 How beloved are Your dwelling places, O Lord of Hosts!
3 My soul yearns, yea, it pines for the courts of the Lord; my heart and my flesh pray fervently to the living God.
4 Even a bird found a house and a swallow her nest, where she placed her chicks upon Your altars, O Lord of Hosts, my King and my God.
5 Fortunate are those who stay in Your house; they will continually praise You forever.
6 Fortunate is the man who has strength in You, in whose heart are the highways.
7 Transgressors in the valley of weeping make it into a fountain; also with blessings they enwrap [their] Teacher.
8 They go from host to host; he will appear to God in Zion.
9 O Lord, God of Hosts, hearken to my prayer; bend Your ear, O God of Jacob, forever.
10 See our shield, O God, and look at the face of Your anointed.
11 For a day in Your courts is better than a thousand; I chose to sit on the threshold of the house of My God rather than dwell in tents of wickedness.
12 For a sun and a shield is the Lord God; the Lord will give grace and glory; He will not withhold good from those who go with sincerity.
13 O Lord of Hosts, fortunate is the man who trusts in You.

The book of Tehillim (Psalms) with 150 prayers and hymns were composed by various authors, mainly King David, in ancient Israel. It has become one of the most cherished books in the Jewish bible. For generations, the Tehillim has been a source of inspiration and comfort to many.The Book of Joshua, in the Hebrew-Jewish Bible, narrates the entry of the Children of Israel into the Promised Land of Canaan and their conquest and partition of the land under the leadership of Joshua, as Moses’ successor. It details the Israelites’ miraculous crossing of the Jordan River, the fall of Jericho, the battles of Ai and Gibeon, and the division of the land among the twelve tribes. Joshua resonates with Moses, in which he exhorts the Israelites to remain faithful to G-d and His commandments.

The Book of Mishlei (Proverbs) in the Hebrew Bible. The book begins with a call to seek wisdom and understanding, and it describes the benefits that come from doing so, such as knowledge and discernment.Judges chronicles the history of the Israelites during the period between the conquest of the Land of Israel and the establishment of the monarchy.
